CHAPTER EIGHT

THE WIZARD’S HOUSE

• The fragmented pieces are highlighted in the following colors in the screenshot:
  
  

  
  
  The watering can pieces are in green.
  
  
  The hedge clipper pieces are in dark blue.
  
  
  The knitting needle pieces are in lavender.
  
  
  The torch pieces are in light blue.
  
  
  The laurel wreath pieces are in yellow.




• The light blue gem is in the top left side of the scene; it blends in with the sky.




• The red gem is against the side of the red carriage, close to the window.




• Click on the hollow spot that is on top of the house. Pick up the last piece of the hedge clippers that appears inside.




• Click on the hollow spot that is inside the carriage. Pick up the last piece of the laurel wreath that is inside.




• Both hollow spots have red arrows pointing to them in the screenshot.




• Go to the labyrinth.

LABYRINTH

• The fragmented pieces will be highlighted in the following colors in the screenshot:
  
  

  
  
  The pick pieces will be in red.
  
  
  The magic yarn pieces will be in green.
  
  
  The goblet pieces will be in dark blue.
  
  
  The door handle pieces will be in yellow.
  
  

  The mirror pieces will be in lavender.




• The blue gem is in the upper right side of the scene.




• There is another blue gem on the left side of the wall, to the right of the large statue. It blends in with the blue part of the wall.




• Click on the broken vase in the lower right side and pick up the last goblet piece that is inside.




• Place the pick on the crack that is on the side of the wall. The last piece of the mirror will appear; click on it.




• Give the laurel wreath to the statue on the left. The torch in the statue’s hand will light up.




• Place the torch from your inventory on the torch that the statue is holding.




• The torch will go back into inventory with fire on it.




• Place the mirror on the eagle that is guarding the door.




• The eagle will drop the last piece of the door handle on the ground; pick it up.




• Place the magic yarn on the entrance of the labyrinth and enter it.

INSIDE THE LABYRINTH

• Place the lit torch from inventory onto the unlit torch that is on the right side of the wall. Once the torch is lit the lights will come on.

  The bowl pieces are in green.
  
  

  The spade pieces are in red.
  
  
  The walking stick pieces are in lavender.
  
  
  The sword pieces are in yellow.
  
  
  The stone pieces are in dark blue.




• The purple gem is on the top right side of the wall.




• The light blue gem is on the far right side of the back wall.




• Click on the shield that is on the far left side to open up a hollow spot. Pick up a piece of the walking stick that is inside.




• Click on the pot that is on the far left side of the scene. Pick up the last piece of the bowl that is inside.

BOWL, SPADE, AND SWORD USAGE

• Place the bowl on the gold stand that is on the lower left side of the scene. The bowl will fill with water.




• Place the goblet in the bowl so you can fill it with water. The goblet will go back into inventory full of water.




• Place the spade on the hole that is on the far right side of the scene. It is on the ground, below the torch. Pick up the last piece of the sword that appears on the ground in that spot.




• Place the sword on the loose rock that is on the arch. Pick up the last stone piece that appears inside.




• Place the stone piece on the large stone that is in the lower center of the scene.




• Put the goblet with water on the stone to cool it off.




• Click on the stone to play a mini-game.

MOVE THE STONES

• In this puzzle you have to move the stones around until you can place two of the same symbols in each corner of the puzzle.




• Click on any stone, and it will move to the next available spot.




• There are many ways to complete this puzzle. It doesn’t matter which piece is where, as long as two like pieces are in a corner.




• Once the puzzle is completed, pick up the last piece of the walking stick that appears in the place where the puzzle was located.




• Go back to the Wizard’s House.

OUSIDE THE WIZARD’S HOUSE

• Put the walking stick in the drain pipe that is on the right side of the scene.




• The walking stick will unclog the pipes, and water will flow into the barrel.




• Put the door handle on the door. Grab the last piece of the watering can that appears.




• Place the watering can on the barrel of water in the lower right side of the scene. The can will fill with water.




• Place the watering can on the dying plant that is in the lower center of the scene. The plant will grow and an apple will appear on the tree.




• Place the hedge clippers on the apple, and it will go into inventory.




• Give the apple to the hedgehog that is in the lower right side of the scene.




• The hedgehog will leave with the apple. Pick up the last piece of the knitting needle that the hedgehog was standing over.




• Place the knitting needle on the window that leads to the basement of the house. Enter the basement for your next scene.

INSIDE THE WIZARD’S HOUSE

  The top hat pieces are in yellow.
  
  
  The flower pieces are in green.
  
  
  The book pieces are in light blue.
  
  
  The hoop pieces are in red.
  
  
  The lampshade pieces are in lavender.




• The light blue gem is on the far left side of the back wall.




• The pink gem is on the red chair that is on the left side of the room.




• Click on the carpet area on the far left side of the room. Click on the last piece of the flowers that appears under the rug.




• Click on the shield that is on the back wall to open a mini-game.

ARRANGE ITEMS INSIDE THE SHAPE

• Your goal here is to arrange the items inside the shape that is carved in the wood.




• There are several ways to complete this puzzle.




• Move a piece around the inside of the shape; it will automatically lock into place as soon as it is in a correct spot.




• You can rotate the pieces by left-clicking on them.




• Please look at the screenshot for a sample solution.

FLOWER AND LAMPSHADE USAGE

• Pick up the last piece of the lampshade that appears in the location where you found the puzzle.




• Click on the cape that is in the back of the room, and it will open up.




• Pick up the last piece of the hoop that is attached to the cape.




• Place the lampshade on the left side of the room. On the spot on the wall that is close to the steps.




• Once the lampshade is in place, the last piece of the book appears above the lampshade. Click on the last piece of the book.




• Place the book on the last shelf of the bookcase.




• The last piece of the top hat appears in the alligator’s mouth that is on top of the bookcase; pick it up.




• Place the flowers on the green vase that is on the table.




• Place the top hat over the flowers. You will get a bunny in a top hat in your inventory.




• Click on the purple box that is on the left side of the room; the door will open. Place the bunny inside the box. Click on the box again to close it.




• Grab the hoop and place it over the box. The hoop will go up and down the box. Once the hoop disappears, click on the box and grab the scroll that is inside.
