CHAPTER FOUR

Underground Library

• The 14 letters are highlighted in green in the screenshot.


• Some of the letters can be very hard to find, keep clicking in the area shown in the screenshot until you find it.


• All other items are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.

Solve the Word Jumble

• Your goal in this puzzle is to form the correct words by placing the letters on the board.


• Drag a letter to the spot on the board that you want it to be in.


• Let go of your mouse when the letter is in the right place.


• To remove a letter from the board, simply drag it to another spot.


• The solution is: “FLYING DUTCHMAN.”


• Once all the letters are in the right place, the board will move aside and a hole will open up in the ground.


• Click on the hole in the ground to exit the scene.

Underground Canal

• The boat parts will all be highlighted in yellow. This includes two oarlocks, two boat oars, a bench rest, a bow, a bench, the ribs, and a rope.

Assemble the Boat

• Your goal in this puzzle is to put the pieces of the boat in the right places.


• Place the ribs on the back right side of the boat.


• The bench rest goes in the back of the boat.


• The bow goes in the front part of the boat.


• Place the ropes on the bow.


• Place the two oarlocks on the side of the boat.


• Place the two oars on top of the oarlocks.


• The bench goes closer to the back of the boat.

Solve the Puzzle

• To solve this jigsaw puzzle, click on two squares to swap their positions.


• Once a piece is in the right place, it will lock into position.


• Please look at the screenshot for the solution.

A Shipwreck

• The three coins are highlighted in yellow.


• The three crosses are circled in red in the screenshot.


• All other items are highlighted in green in the screenshot.

Open the Latch

• This is your basic slider puzzle; in this case you have to move the latches around until the four knives in each corner are no longer showing.


• Drag the latches around the board. The latches can only be dragged from left to right, or up and down.


• Please look at the two screenshots and follow the order shown. As you drag the latches around in order, make sure that you are dragging them in the direction of the arrow.


• Make sure when you follow the direction of the arrows that you drag the latch as far as it can go.

A Treasure

• Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items on the list.

Assemble the Knife

• Your goal in this puzzle is to assemble the knife in a particular order, or the pieces will not fit correctly.


• Assemble the items in the following order:


• Place the tip of the knife at the end of the blade.


• Place the emeralds on the holes of the blades of the knife.


• Place the pommel at the end of the knife, and the handle will turn around.


• Place the crosses on the handles. The latches for the guards become extended at this point.


• Place the guards at each end of the knife.


• Place a coin on each side of the guards.


• Place a coin on the blade of the knife.


• Place the brooch in the space between the handle and the blade.
