CHAPTER 3 – EVERGLADES, USA

OAR & DOLL PIECES

• Once you arrive in Guatemala you will be taken to the storefront. There will be several locations you can visit.
• If you place your cursor on the steps located on the left side, you will be taken to the dock.
• If you go inside the door on the right, you will go inside the store.
• Please look at all three screenshots to see the locations of all the items.

OAR USAGE

• Use the oar on the alligator that is in the water by the dock and you will be asked to find the fishing rod and fishing net pieces. You will also be asked to find pieces for the grappling hook and tether post.

ROD, NET, POST & HOOK PIECES

NET AND FISHING ROD USAGE

• Grab the net from inventory and place it on the gold shimmer that is in the water by the dock.
• Grab the fishing rod from inventory and place it on the “gold shimmer with fishing net” that is in the water.
• A gold box will appear on the dock, and you will be asked to find a key.

TETHER POST & GRAPPLING HOOK USAGE

• Drag the tether post from inventory and place it on the canoe that is in the water.
• Place the grappling hook from inventory on the canoe; the canoe will move closer to the edge of the dock.

NATIVE DOLL USAGE

• Give the native doll to the dog in the lower right corner of the storefront, and you will be asked to find the parts of the native blanket.

GOLD KEY, BLANKET & PAGE PIECES

GOLD KEY/ GOLD BOX

• Use the gold key on the gold box that is on the dock, and a new box will appear. You will be asked to find a silver key.

SILVER KEY PIECE & NATIVE BLANKET USAGE

• Grab the silver key that is on the canoe by the storefront and it will go into inventory.
• Place the native blanket on the shopkeeper that is on the chair by the storefront. You will now have to find the arrowhead, spear, and blue heron pieces.

SILVER KEY USAGE

• Go to the dock and place the silver key on the silver box. You will be asked to find an onyx key.

ONYX KEY PIECE & USAGE

• Go inside of the storefront and pick up the onyx key that is on the lower right side of the scene.

• Go back to the dock and place the onyx key on the onyx box and you will be asked to find the last piece of the journal.

JOURNAL, ARROWHEADS, LONG SPEAR & FEATHER PIECES

BLUE HERON FEATHER PLACEMENT

• Place the blue heron feather on the cap of the shopkeeper that is in front of the storefront and you will be asked to find the journal page.

ARROWHEAD & LONG SPEAR PLACEMENT

• Place the long spear on the alligator skull that is on the upper right corner of the scene.
• Place the arrowheads on the carving that is inside of the store, and a puzzle will appear.
