Autumn’s Treasures: The Jade Coin Walkthrough

CHAPTER 1 – SEATTLE, USA

HANGER & JOURNAL PIECES

• When you first enter the scene, the game asks you to click on the hammer piece that is in the lower right corner.
• It will then take you to another room to get the last piece of the hammer.
• Go back to the front of the store and use the hammer on the portrait that is on the back wall.
• Once the hammer is used, a safe will appear on the wall in place of the picture. Two new items will be added to your inventory.
• The fragmented items can be found in either room, please look at the screenshots for the location of all the broken pieces.
• Once you put the journal pieces together, they will automatically go into the lower right corner of the scene. You can use the journal to read entries and clues about your next tasks.

USE HANGER

• Go into the back room and place the hanger on the chain that is hanging in the center of the ceiling.
• Once the hanger goes on the chain, you will see that something fell on the pile of litter on the floor. You will now have to look for the broom pieces in the scene.

BROOM AND NOTE PIECES

USE BROOM

• Go in the back room and place the broom on the pile of litter that is on the floor. The game will now ask you to find the magnet pieces.

FIND MAGNET PIECES/ USE MAGNET

• The first two screenshots show you the location of the magnet pieces.

• Once the magnet pieces have been found, go to the back room and place the magnet on the crack on the floor. You will now be asked to find the pieces of a key.

KEY PIECES

KEY AND NOTE USAGE

• Go to the front of the store and place the note and the key on the safe and you will be automatically taken to a puzzle.

KEY PUZZLE

• The note you picked up had several symbols on it: star, star, square, circle. The key has the same symbols on it.
• Click on the symbols in the following order, from left to right:

  STAR
  STAR
  SQUARE
  CIRCLE

• Once the puzzle has been solved, the safe will open; click on the paper that is inside the safe.

JOURNAL PAGES & PLASTIC EYE PIECES

PLACE PLASTIC EYES

• Put the plastic eyes on the skull that is on the counter in the front of the store.
• Grab the journal piece that appears on the skull after the eyes have been placed.

CHAPTER 1 PUZZLE

• Grab a journal scrap from the left side of the page and place it on the right side of the journal.
• The pieces will automatically stick to the page when they are placed correctly.
